The PURE NEXUS Bridge cables are designed on the same principals as the PURE NEXUS Speaker Cables. They have been designed with the science of how to best transport the signal from one speaker post to another.

 

They are part of the PURE NEXUS range. Exclusive to Audio Cable Pro. 

 

 

KEY FEATURES EXPLAINED

 

1. Helical Manufacture Method

  • The conductors are wound in a helical (spiral) pattern so they stay physically separated by air.

  • With Air separation between each of the conductors the Evoke range of cables have low capacitance compared to cables with plastics or foams.

  • Lower capacitance = less signal loss and less distortion at high frequencies, which helps to maintain transparency and detail in the sound.

 

2. Multicore Conductor Construction - Eight (8) separate Conductors per Cable

  • Multiple conductors of copper are arranged in overlapping ways, which alters the way electromagnetic fields interact.

  • The cable design reduces inductance, which can otherwise roll off high frequencies or affect transient response.

  • In other words, it’s intended to keep timing and dynamics as accurate as possible.

 

3. Ultra-Pure Oxygen-Free Copper (UP-OFC)

  • UP-OFC with no significant oxygen content helps prevent long-term oxidation and improves conductivity.

  • UP-OFC for outstanding sonic integrity

  • The fine strand structure (30 x 0.25 mm strands of UP-OFC per conductor) enhances flexibility and minimizes skin effect.

  • 240 strands of UP-OFC in each bridge cable. 

 

4. Physical Construction

  • Overall length of 53cm or (530mm) Tip to Tip with a diameter of 2cm (20 mm).

  • Gold-Plated BFA and Spade plugs. 

  • All parts are constructed from ABS (Plastic) which provides favorable mechanical properties such as impact resistance, toughness, and rigidity. 

  • ABS plastic does not adversely affect electrical signals; in fact, it is widely used for electronic housings and enclosures specifically because of its effective electrical insulating properties and its minimal impact on electromagnetic or radio frequency signals.

  • Finished with a protective braided sheath jacket for increased durability, cable protection and of course appearance.
